| It looks just like Narnia |
I'm sure there'll be millions of photos of snow doing the rounds on blogs over the weekend, but I don't care, I'm going to join in the party and show you my photos of snow, so if you're fed up to the back teeth of snow you might want to look away now.

It was unexpected that I was at home today, I was meant to be in work, but the inclement conditions meant that I didn't have to go in. With that in mind, I made a start at refitting some zips in things that had broken, and I was also determined that I'd get out and get some snow pictures with my new camera.
Now, if you're expecting me to be kitted out in some fantastical vintage attire in this weather, you're going to be very disappointed.

| A pair of glasses short of being the invisible man |
I've invested over the past few years in some nifty bits of clothing technology such as primaloft trousers, Gore-tex boots and ultra wool socks. The result is that I don't look at all stylish, but I can walk for miles in the worst weather conditions and still find myself dry and toasty. It's a trade off I'm willing to make.
Anyway, when lunchtime rolled around the snow was falling heavy, and the streets were alive with the sounds of kids who had been sent home from school, and were out with sledges.
We decided to wrap up, get the dogs kitted up in their coats, and go for a lovely walk to a nearby nature reserve and fields.
The scenery was magical, just like Narnia. The dogs adored it, and we did too. I know lots of people don't like snow, but I reckon if you dress appropriately then there's lots of fun to be had.

Will you be out enjoying the snow this weekend, or hiding in front of the fire with a cup of hot cocoa?

A fresh snowfall is the one thing that makes winter tolerable, I'd say! Love your photos. We were out on Thursday evening during the prettiest snowfall. It was dreamy. Have a great weekend my friend.
You look dressed for the Arctic, never mind Coventry! Great way to keep warm and dry, enjoy the snow, and take the dogs for a snowy walk. Lovely photos, Louise! xxxx

Living here in sunny Southern California, as I do, I find your photos to be truly smitten with the magical charm of a far off land! Thank you so much for sharing such fantasy!
